Each question covers one thing the advert leaves open: length, level, price, insurance, group size, equipment. That list works for most adverts.

  1. « C’est sûrement hors de prix. »“It must be ridiculously expensive.”

Sure, the cost might seem high at first, but everything is included: accommodation, meals, activities and sometimes even transport. In the end, it’s excellent value for a complete and memorable experience.

»“You have to sort out transport, accommodation and food yourself.”

Actually, everything is often organized so you don’t have to worry about a thing. That lets you enjoy your weekend to the full without any logistical stress.

»“The level of sport is probably going to be very high.”

The weekends are flexible: beginners and experienced people alike can take part, with activities suited to every level. It’s a chance to push yourself safely.

  4. « Ça demande une grosse préparation physique. »“It takes a lot of physical preparation.”

That’s true, but the goal isn’t extreme performance, it’s enjoyment and discovery. Besides, a few simple exercises before you go are enough to get ready.

  5. « Il faudra sûrement présenter un certificat médical. »“I’ll probably have to show a medical certificate.”

Yes, it’s a necessary precaution to keep everyone safe, especially in risky sports. It also shows the organizers are serious and professional.

  6. « Je vais devoir m’équiper (vêtements). »“I’ll have to buy gear (clothes).”

Equipment can sometimes be lent or rented on site. And investing in good sports clothes is useful for all your future activities.

»“If the weather is bad, it’s a disaster.”

The organizers always plan alternatives and indoor activities. Even in the rain, you’ll have an original and unforgettable experience.

»“Going back to work is going to be hard (tiredness, aches and pains…).”

A bit of tiredness is normal, but above all it’s the sign of an active, stimulating weekend. What’s more, the energy and motivation you gain more than make up for the small physical effort.

  9. « Certains sports proposés sont dangereux. »“Some of the sports on offer are dangerous.”

Every activity is supervised by qualified professionals, with strict safety measures. The risk is minimal and under control.

»“I’ll have to get along with the other people in the group.”

That’s exactly the advantage: you’ll meet people who share your interests, and those interactions can enrich your experience and create lasting memories.
